The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium is temporarily closed to support our nation's efforts to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes all exhibits, events, programs and Spring Break Camp. We will re-open in alignment with Palm Beach County Schools. Please stay tuned to our dedicated webpage and social media channels for virtual science and more updates.

2020 Annual Gala

Dear loyal followers and supporters,

The Board of Directors of the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium made the difficult decision to postpone our annual gala, The Science of Espionage, to November 5th, 2020. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 threat and current recommendations from the CDC. We recognize that the health and wellness of our guests, speakers, partners, families, and sponsors are the top priority.

Thank you to all of our supporters, table purchasers, advertisers, and ticket buyers for The Science of Espionage. Your financial support has enabled this organization to become an indispensable science education resource for Palm Beach and surrounding counties.

For those who have already purchased tickets, they will be honored on the new date. If you are unable to attend on the future date, we hope you would consider your purchase a tax-deductible donation to support the work of the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Marcy Hoffman, mhoffman@sfsciencecenter.org

In the meantime, we once again ask everyone to wash hands thoroughly and often and maintain social distancing and other practices recommended by health authorities.

Thank you and be well,

Kate Arrizza, CEO
