Come visit the Science Center's Early Childhood program, where we make learning fun and exciting!
Your child will be introduced to chemistry, biology, physics, and geology through play- based, hands-on activities that stimulate thought and teach cause and effect. Young children learn through play, and each class provides an experience that is both educational and memorable!
Who: Children, ages 18 months to 4 years….and their mommy, daddy, grandparent, or caregiver.
Where: The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium’s Early Childhood Classroom.
"Diggin' Dinosaurs" - Thursdays, October 4th - November 8th:
Join us to discover the world of Dinosaurs! Become a paleontologist and dig for fossils, learn the different types of Dinosaurs and what caused them to go extinct. Sessions are infused with age-appropriate activities that challenge and entertain your child while sparking a love of learning about the world around them. Each class includes story-time, a thematic science activity, arts and crafts, and music and movement.
When: Once a week, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM or 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, for 6 consecutive weeks. Program cost is $85.00 for Museum Members and $100.00 for Non-Members. This cost is per child and parent pair.
