Discover The Palm Beaches’ annual summer travel promotion returned Friday, May 1 with the launch of its new online deal hub at PalmBeachSummer.com. The site offers summer travel packages for less at leading accommodations from across The Palm Beaches, with tailored packages offering seasonal savings and free night stays. This has been supported by aggressive public relations and social media engagement efforts as well as a bought media placed in key summer drive markets, including Broward County and Miami-Dade County in South Florida, Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia.
According to past years’ visitor arrival data, these key drive markets purchase more overnight stays during the summer compared to the winter season. Residents from the Greater Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas are the largest group of summer travelers to The Palm Beaches, equating to 13 percent of visits. Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia also rank high on the list of summer feeder markets, making up seven percent and three percent respectively.
“Summer in The Palm Beaches offers tremendous value for all visitors, especially families,” continued Basen. “From beachfront luxury and trusted hotel brands along I-95, to unique activities and adventures that will keep the whole family asking for more, The Palm Beaches is the best way to experience Florida this summer and
enjoy the time of your life.”
